My wife, Emma, wants to try new things this year, and one of those is pottery. So, as a birthday treat I booked us both in for a "taster session" and we loved it!! Stacey is really warm and welcoming, and a really pleasurable teacher. She took time to explain the process and demonstrate everything we needed to throw a pot, then it was our turn on the wheel. We had a 2 hour session all under Stacey’s relaxed tuition and help, and we were able to make 3 sizeable pots each (i think this was only limited to our skill level, but a good no. to be pleased to have produced). We’re now looking forward to our return visit where we will hopefully see all pots fired with no losses (all down to the kiln gods!), and our follow-on glazing session. Such a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning, Emma is looking to book further sessions. Thank you, Stacey, for a lovely intro to throwing.

Stacey who runs the shop and workshops is very warm, knowledgeable and patient and kind. Really enjoy the pottery lessons which I find very relaxing and a welcome break from busy life, would highly recommend. The shop is beautifully presented and well worth a visit.

I look forward to my weekly pottery class at Salt. Stacey is a brilliant tutor and fun to be around. If you are stuck for something to make she has creative ideas and a wealth of knowledge about her craft. The small class size makes it great for total beginners like me or for more the experienced. It's such a calm environment and brings out the creative side in everyone! I love the gift shop. It showcases local talent and is a great place to buy a bespoke handmade present.

Such a fun and unique experience. Came here for a pottery class, Stacey the owner made us so comfortable and at ease. We really enjoyed ourselves and walked out with some lovely looking "masterpieces".
