Pottery Box

Visited with a group of 4. Angelique was really accommodating. It was a perfect activity for our small family. We each got time on the wheel, each got time to hand-build/sculpt something, and each got to paint our pieces. None of us had ceramics experience previously and we were all able to separately make mugs, bowls, sculptures etc. Fantastic time and we’ll definitely be back. Clay studio has a restroom, and a little tea/coffee section, and parking available on site. The clay studio is next to the teacher’s house.

A group of 7 of us visited Angelique for a baby shower pottery painting party - it was a fantastic experience! Angelique is so friendly and welcoming, and managed to get a group of complete beginners using the wheel and creating various sculptures whilst also maintaining a really fun, relaxed environment. She was very happy for us to set up decorations and bring some nibbles with us, too. We would highly recommend Pottery Box and would love to return in the future. Thank you, Angelique!

My partner and I had an amazing experience (x2) we came to Angelique for a quick class on the wheel and made some very interesting bowls and we loved it so much that we came back the next day to do some sculpting! Thank you so much, if we are ever down this way again we will definitely be coming back! We can’t wait to receive our finished pieces! You were so welcoming, friendly and laid back it made the experience a fantastic one! ❤️

My family and I were lucky enough to enjoy a few hours with Angelique at the Pottery Box. Angelique is extremely friendly, welcoming and not to mention talented. We were all novices aged from 16 to 69 and all of us really enjoyed the morning. This was a Mother's Day gift and it was fantastic. Can't recommend this experience enough. Absolutely brilliant place! The team (family run) are super friendly and fun! We did a pottery/sculpture open session on a Wednesday. We made a few small cups, decorative cats, models etc... Followed by a up close and personal animal experience session! OMG it was so much fun. Walked the goats, fed baby cows, Pony ride for my boy, stroked sheep, cows and the beautiful pig! The ducks are hilarious & the house chicken and Ram are so friendly! Would highly recommend a visit, especially if you have little ones (probably best ages 4 and up)! Will come back if we are ever down this way again.

Three of us had a great time on the session. Made some sculptures and then all had a go making a pot on the wheel and finally painted them. Angelique was great at showing us what to do and very talented. Super fun part of our holiday.

Had my baby shower here and loved every second! Really chilled vibes with being really helpful and informative at the same time! Already want to come back and do more! Highly recommend
