Little Acorn Pottery

Never thought I’d enjoy or be any good at pottery however I got told to come down by my auntie Amanda to try it out. She is such a good teacher and made it so simple. It’s so calming and Amanda is so lovely. I managed to put together a fishing mug and it looks unreal! Currently glazing it right now. Would 100% recommend!

I had the most wonderful 3-hour one-to-one class at Little Acorn Pottery. The studio is absolutely gorgeous — calm, welcoming, and the perfect place to learn. Amanda is an amazing teacher: patient, relaxed, and so generous with her time and knowledge. She explained everything so clearly and guided me every step of the way, which made the whole experience both fun and rewarding. She has definitely inspired me to go back and learn more, and I’m excited to create unique pieces of my own. Amanda is such a lovely person and made me feel completely at ease throughout. I can’t recommend Little Acorn Pottery highly enough for anyone wanting to explore ceramics, whether you’re a beginner or looking to develop your skills.

I contacted Amanda when I was organising a birthday celebration at Ashlin farm barns. There was a range of ages in the party and I wanted to do something crafty and mindful. Amanda was simply amazing from start to finish. She’d beautifully made all of the plates that we decorated and she was calm, kind and encouraging with us all whilst we were creating! Amanda took all our creations away with her (Saturday) and delivered them back to us on the Sunday. She had wrapped each plate individually and had written us all a personalised message. We were all really touched, especially the birthday girl. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amanda - she was simply brilliant!

Wonderful experience! Amanda was patient and an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable on the subject and nurtured our creativity to create some exquisite pottery! Already looking forward to booking further sessions!

We booked a pottery session online with my wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary during our stay in Lincoln. We had a fantastic time with Amanda. She has a fantastic hands-on pottery studio. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home with a warm drink. The studio is welcoming and well-equipped, perfect for both beginners and experienced potters. Working with the pottery wheel was incredibly fun and therapeutic. Amanda was patient and provided excellent guidance, ensuring my wife and I felt comfortable and confident. Its amazing creating your own unique pieces, and the sense of accomplishment was great! This studio is perfect for anyone looking to explore their creativity and learn a new skill. I highly recommend Acorn Pottery with Amanda for an enjoyable and rewarding pottery experience. We'll be back!

Amanda was a great teacher and we were all delighted with what we made on the potter’s wheel. It was such a fun day and we also enjoyed going back to paint our pottery. Would highly recommend booking a workshop.

What a beautiful experience at Amanda’s pottery studio. Such a fabulous teacher, gentle and guiding as our little group explored a new skill. Can’t wait to come back and start another project. Thank you so much.
