Absolutely beautiful mug! I had wanted one of these STUNNING pieces for almost a year after seeing them at local artisan markets and became completely obsessed!! I was so delighted to receive one last week as a gift and it is now the favourite mug in my house that I use every day for tea and hot chocolate. It is the perfect size and shape, and i love the colour combination and the elegant gold makes it even more gorgeous! All her work is incredible - so talented and love being able to support local artisan crafters 😍😍 A beautiful person and beautiful creations - already eyeing up the next piece i want 😍😍

It was specially commissioned from a very talented Irish artist, which makes it feel even more unique. The detail is stunning, and the Rose Quartz element adds such a lovely, calming touch. I recentIy was at the Eikon exhibition centre in Lisburn and spoke to Angie who was very warm and welcoming. I told her about by sons upcoming birthday and commissioned this handmade mug from Clay Fairy Ceramics. This mug quickly become his favorite thing in the kitchen. The first thing you notice is the quality, it has that solid, substantial weight that feels well made, but it feels durable enough for a child to handle and looks like a piece of art sitting on the counter. The glaze work is what really stands out. The deep blue dripping into the sandy, natural ceramic base gives it a rugged yet clean look that he absolutely loves. It’s cool enough for a young boy but has an earthy feel that I appreciate in the kitchen as well. The size is was just right too, large enough for a proper serving of hot chocolate with a massive mountain of whipped cream on top 😁, and the handle is shaped just right for him to hold comfortably.
