Booked for a Hen Do experience and we weren’t disappointed! It turned out to be the perfect experience, relaxed and gave us all time to do something creative whilst also being a relaxed environment. Vicky was really accommodating and friendly. Everyone left the session really happy with their candles and couldn’t wait to take them home and give them a go! The cake that Vicky provided was really tasty too!! Definitely give this craft studio a visit!

I and a group of friends did the tote bag making workshop here as part of my hen do celebrations. Vicky was lovely, the cake was delicious, and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!

Not at all impressed with this craft session. Vicky is welcoming, provided homemade cake and tea, the location although it is up some very steep stairs is suitable for the workshop. However we did not expect to stir water into plaster of paris and pour into a mould and that be it! Not so much as resin. There were 8 lovely ladies in the class and only a few products came out of the molds in one piece. More than 24hrs later mine is still damp! Buy your own varnish to finish the product at home we were told. Not worth £48 for 1 1/2 hrs and no finished product.

We had a lovely evening making Christmas candles with Vicky. The studio is a great space, easy to find using the directions on the website. Parking was no problem. Vicky was extremely welcoming and provided tea / coffee and wonderful homemade cake. If you are looking for something a different to do, definitely give The Crafts Collective a try!

We picked the Terrazzo Casting Pottery Workshop as a group of 4 to celebrate our friends engagement. I can’t fault Vicky’s enthusiasm and hospitality, but unfortunately some of our pieces broke as they came out the moulds. To make it worse, the pieces that my friends took home broke in the paper bag provided. This was a disappointment as we all wanted something, a physical reminder of a fun day out. We also felt slightly rushed out the door, but I understand this was to allow prep for the next class. For future, I would recommend allocating a longer time frame for the Terrazzo Casting Pottery Workshop, to enable the objects to set properly. Additionally, bubble wrap should be provided to ensure the objects are safe when taking home. For anyone considering doing a class with The Crafts Collective, I would say to go for it but to choose something other than the Terrazzo Casting Pottery Workshop.
