Such a fun and creative thing to do, highly highly recommend it! I was obsessed with making a Greenman / Green Goddess for the garden. With no real experience working with clay, Richard helped us to produce awesome sculptures. He is very welcoming, a lovely host and a brilliant facilitator. Excited for the final fired works. Thanks so much 🙂
I went with my friend and we did a donkey and a highland cow. I went in with the hope that the final product at least looks like something! But what a well-guided experience. Such a patient and experienced facilitator. I'm amazed at what we could achieve at the end. And what's more, all of our sculptures had a unique character! I'm tempted to try more of their workshops. Worth the money.
Me and my friend attended today's highland cow and donkey course and it was a great fun. I went there thinking I will end up with one big messy clay, ( my artistic skills are not great) luckily I was proven wrong. Just look at these two amazing animals we made with a help of the course provider! It is definitely worth the money and there is nothing better than having a little clay animal on your shelf, thinking "I've made it!"
Treated myself to a class making a ceramic rat held just outside Otley. It was everything I expected and more, Richard is a great teacher who breaks down each step showing first and then letting you try and helping where needed. He likes you to go wild and use your imagination too which resulted in all kinds of characters: rats cooking, rats over eating, baking and reading and of course wearing hats! I have signed up for another two classes and can't recommend it enough!
I highly recommend any of his workshops they are fantastic and easy to follow even if your new to pottery I absolutely love creating my pieces and I’m so happy with each one can’t wait to book more
What a great way to spend an afternoon, creating a highland cow from what started out as just a lump of clay. Richard is a brilliant teacher, so patient and helpful too. Would 100% recommend having a go at one of his workshops. Great fun!
A brilliant day spent making Highland Cows. I bought the experience as a gift for my mum and brothers girlfriend and we all had a wonderful day, very informative, brilliant teacher and the results were much better than I think we all expected. Will definitely recommend 👌
