Clay And Salt Ceramics

We celebrated our 9th anniversary by trying our hand at pottery with a 2 hour private session, and it was such a fun, memorable experience! Amelia was an amazing instructor, patient, encouraging, and great at explaining everything in a way that made us feel comfortable as beginners. We laughed a lot, got a little messy, and even made some pieces we’re proud of. Such a unique and special way to celebrate. Highly recommend! 🏺✨

My daughter and I were taught pottery by the very talented and thankfully very patient Amelia. We had a great time and made some lovely pots and plates, which we'll treasure forever! Thank you so much Amelia, we'll be back next time we're in Lyme Regis.

Just completed a 5 week pottery course. Absolutely loved it. Amelia gently guides and encourages a wide exploration of clay and all its properties. Each member of the class produced wonderful unique pieces to be proud of. Highly recommended.

Just finished a 5 week course with Amelia at Clay and Salt Ceramics. Had a very relaxing, informative and fun time. Created works using different pottery techniques under tuition and with guidence made a project piece of choice. Very enjoyable

I have really enjoyed the class. You have created a nice relaxed atmosphere.  I think you have been very patient, flexible and encouraging. You have explained techniques in lots of detail and always careful to go over things we are not sure about. What's not too like.

Went to the pints and pots night at the ilchester arms taught by Amelia christoffers from clay and salt and it was such a fun night. Really great vibe, met new people and made a cool little soap dish for my bathroom!

I went along to Clay and Salt Ceramics as part of a group session. The studio is beautiful and in a very peaceful setting. Amelia has a very relaxed and calm approach to teaching. She has extensive knowledge of the materials and techniques. Her guidance and demonstrations are very clear. And she will help you to make any creative ideas come to life.
