I did the 4 week beginners hand building course. Pascale was an amazing teacher and thoughtfully explained each step, she was happy to answer any questions or repeat instructions when needed. It was a really supportive environment to try ceramics for the first time - I will definitely be booking on to more courses! Excited to see how my ceramics look when they’re out of the kiln.

We recently completed the four week beginners hand building course as a date night present for my husband and I. We had such a fantastic experience. Pascale is a wonderful teacher who explains every stage with great care and patience, and she was always willing to answer questions or demonstrate again and guide us. The atmosphere in the class was very inclusive and welcoming, which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy trying ceramics for the first time. We are already planning to book more courses and are very excited to see how our 'masterpieces' turn out once they come out of the kiln, whether they look impressive or not ;).

I was really looking forward to attending a class that was purchased for me as a gift by a loved who is overseas. Unfortunately, due to international travel complications, I had to cancel two days in advance. While the studio relied heavily on a 14-day cancellation policy, this condition was not presented in the booking confirmation, where numerous other notes were provided. Despite multiple attempts to find a reasonable and fair solution for both parties, no flexibility or goodwill was offered. This experience felt transactional rather than considerate. The lack of effort to find any customer-focused solution was disappointing. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering other creative studios that offer a more customer-friendly, human approach and clearer, more reasonable cancellation policies.

Lovely studio with great courses. I did the 5-week throwing taster for beginners. The course was well-paced, friendly and taught me a lot. I had minimal pottery experience before this (zero throwing experience) and have discovered a new hobby now! Would highly recommend. Although take a jumper as it can be chilly in the winter.

I did a 5-week beginners throwing course here and loved every minute. The studio is wonderful, the teachers were incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, and encouraging, and I was chuffed with what I was able to make having never touched clay in my life. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I did a workshop here last week and really enjoyed it. High quality guest teachers, lovely space and a fab coffee shop nearby. Thank you Mudworks!

Took the wheel throwing taster course and learned so much! Really nice studio, materials and lovely instructor. Would be great for complete beginners or those looking to brush up on the craft a little!! Would definitely recommend!
