Had a great experience at a 2 hr taster yesterday. Stu is good at breaking down the instructions into very easy to follow steps and get you making as quick as possible. I ended up with 5 pretty good efforts and the time flew by. Not only a great instructor, Stu is down to earth and fun. I would totally recommend this class to anyone.

Such a great morning , Stu and his wife were very welcoming . It was easy to find and it was such a lovely place to do it. We did the introductory course and we all made 4 things each in 2 hours. It was so much fun and Stu was really helpful and gave good explanations. Will definitely be going again.

I booked a birthday treat for my teenager, after checking a younger group member would be ok, and we had a brilliant few hours creating our pottery. Stu was brilliant with his instruction, the session was humorous and very informative. We both had a wonderful time and the teenager turned out to be much better than me which thrilled him no end. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try their hand at pottery. 10/10 experience. Think you can tell from the photos how we worked out who was better!

Went to a taster 2 hour pottery class at Stu pots along with my two sisters and nephew this afternoon , in his beautiful studio. Our group was eight people so it was a nice size but Stu can accommodate up to 14 so great for a larger group. I was a bit apprehensive to be honest learning a new skill as didn’t want to look an idiot in front of everyone. Everyone had their own pottery wheel which was fun to use! But I didn’t need to worry , Stu was relaxed, funny and very informative and helped us out when we needed a bit of help and you didn’t feel silly. Two hours we made 4 items , one you get with the cost of the class and additional one of choice an extra £10, and choice of colour. When we finished we all felt a big achievement in our items. Would definitely recommend stu as a teacher and this class. One to tick off your bucket list as a one off or to continue!

A fabulous and fun afternoon in beautiful surroundings and professional studio. Stu was a great teacher and very patient. The whole experience was fun, creative with plenty of laughs. I highly recommend giving it a go, I surprised myself with what I could create under Stu’s guidance in such a short period of time. Thank you!

My partner and I went to a class today (there were 9 of us in total) and it was brilliant. Stu is knowledgable and funny, patient and enthusiastic. We were advised we’d try to make 3 things, but we all managed at least 4! As much clay as you could use 😊 In 8 weeks time, our chosen items will be dried, glazed and fired and ready for us to collect - we cant wait! Really, really lovely class and so glad we went. Can’t wait to do more pottery!

Wow the course is so much fun and Stu is such a good teacher. Set in a fantastic studio with music on in the background. Stu is always going around the table to help out those that have gotten a bit too ambitious and have failed. Such a great experience that we've been twice. Looking forward to going a third time soon.
