Terra Studio

We held the Luna The Dental Vets Christmas party here for our team and it was so much fun, great to be able to bring drinks and snacks. Such a lovely instructor and everyone made something they were proud of - just hoping they make it out of the kiln!

Very much recommend Terra studio. I did a multi-week wheel course with Gabby and learned so much - everyone in the class came away with things they were happy with. I since did some other pottery classes in Bristol with different tutors and would still highly recommend Gabby’s teaching. The vibe is calm with low volume background music and hasn’t felt too busy/‘over sensory’. I initially had some concerns over accessibility when I first booked and they were helpful. I’ve since been back to a few daytime self-directed sessions on the wheel and glazing as well as an intro throwing class with 2 family members where I benefitted from a refresher in techniques - I knew Gabby would again be a great teacher for their intro to the wheel too and the three of us really enjoyed. I know some of the teaching will be moved to their new cafe location and I look forward to visiting.

For anyone looking for a new hobby or a creative outlet I highly recommend Terra Studios. I have just finished the 7 week throwing course and it was such a rewarding and fun experience. I’ve come away with lots of lovely hand made pieces that are so much better than I expected for a first time potter. Gabby has created a bright and inviting space to welcome her students into and is such a knowledgeable teacher who keeps it fun while making sure you are getting the best out of each session. Each week I couldn’t wait to get into the studio and create. The classes are small so there is plenty of opportunity for 121 guidance from Gabby and you make a good selection of pieces from mugs to bowls and anything else you feel like doing along the way. The course has structure but there is time to experiment and play so it feels really relaxed and fun. You learn a good array of skills and the foundations to feel confident to continue your pottery journey after the course has finished. I can’t wait to get into the open sessions and back on the wheel! See you very soon!

Lovely little spot! We did the pottery & bubbles workshop on a Friday night and it was so much fun! Nadia was friendly, fun, and helpful. Definitely recommend Terra Studio to anyone in Bristol looking for a fun new hobby or unique date night!

Prosecco and pottery night via Yuup was fantastic! Nadia and Gabby were knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. A wonderful atmosphere and truly immersive experience. Highly recommend it!

I did the throwing and handbuilding day class and it was really great! Very fun introduction to the skills and excited to pick up my pots! Good value and a really cool studio would recommend!
