One Wall Studio

Just finished the 6 week pottery course for beginners, and have immediately booked on to the next! Jack is v helpful, demonstrating different skills and offering tips while you’re practicing. A great class and would recommend 🙂

I had the weekend throwing course with Jack. It was a lovely 2 days experience. Great fun, great atmosphere! Very helpful and attentive teacher. (Great cook and baker as well😋) I learnt a lot. Recommended!

I cannot give a full review of the actual class itself, as I haven't managed to attend one yet. However, we booked a class for March 1st back in January and have emailed to see if we can change the date as we are unable to make it. My husband first emailed using the email address on the official website, after almost a week we had no response, so I emailed, yet again, no response. I have no other way to contact them so I emailed again... no response. There's no contact telephone number or alternative email address to speak to anyone and no one is replying to emails at all. It's pretty disappointing. We have now decided to just cancel the booking because of their lack of communication, there's a £10.00 charge to do this.

One Wall Studio is tucked out of the way down Fox Lane. Run by Jack Welbourne, One Wall Studio is a hive of creativity. The studio is well equipped with a number of potters wheels, both electric and 'kick'. Jack the potter is a very good teacher, I learnt a lot from him and took away from my two days of potting several large pots. I will be going again.

Had the 2.5 hour taster experience with Hamish. We all had an absolute blast. We laughed so much. Great fun, a lovely little studio and Hamish was lovely. Highly recommend. Thank you.

A really calming and enjoyable experience. I booked this assuming that you got to keep your best throw but this isn’t the case. It was a bit sad throwing my pot into a big clay barrel at the end of the session after working so hard on it 🥲 (2 hour taster class)
