Highly recommend. I’ve been to 3 other pottery classes before going to Mud & Lustre and learnt from all 3 but Zoe’s is far the best. Zoe is an experienced potter, very patient and very welcoming . I attended the intermediate course that covered exciting projects such as Raku & fire pit firing. Great experience
Zoe is a very professional and experienced pottery teacher. She plans the sessions carefully and always has supporting literature. Her studio is beautiful and very well equipped. The group was very supportive and productive. I learnt so much and now feel confident to work on my own. We had different experiences including raku and casting. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Mud and Lustre as a good learning experience. Thank you Zoe
What a Fantastic Experience! I undertook 6 sessions as a complete novice and surprised myself as to how much I enjoyed it. I managed to create several attractive and useful pieces of pottery to take away with me. Zoe was incredibly patient and informative and I was genuinely sad when the course was over! Great fun.
My husband and I went for a wheel throwing session and had an absolutely amazing time. Zoe is an amazing teacher with incredible patience and made the experience so enjoyable for us. We got to take four clay creations home with us even though it was our first time! ❤️ We will definitely be going again!
What a wonderful 5 weeks of fun and creativity, with Zoe at Mud and Lustre! As a complete beginner, I wasn't sure if I would be able to create anything, worthy of being put out on display. But, I have come away, with pieces of my own creation, that I'm thrilled with! Zoe is a knowledgeable and patient teacher, who.encourages her students to explore their own creativity, lending a helping hand when needed, but always allowing students to create a piece that is very much their own work. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Zoe at Mud and Lustre and I shall most certainly be back!
I have just completed the beginner hand building course which I thoroughly enjoyed. Zoe is such a patient & excellent teacher that I have ended up with usable & decorative pieces of pottery. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to try a new skill.
I have never tried my hand at pottery before. I wasn’t sure I had enough creativity in me to make anything - I was wrong! Zoe was amazing, so supportive, knowledgeable and patient. She guided me all the way through everything. I am so proud of what I have made and loved the whole experience. I would very highly recommend her 😊
