Pottery Lodge

Fae has created the most amazing creative and friendly space at the Pottery Lodge, I can’t recommend it enough. Completely beginner friendly- I had never done pottery throwing or glazing before and I treated myself for my birthday. I had the BEST time, and would honestly recommend to anyone and everyone! Fae is a brilliant teacher and so talented at what she does, I have no doubt that I’ll be back for another pottery session in the future!☺️

We had a great session with Fae doing the group session miniatures for a birthday, she was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and was a lovely, fun environment for a group outing. We really enjoyed it and will book again for another occasion! Highly recommended.

We had so much fun on the beginners throwing lesson, Fae was a fantastic teacher and the studio was lovely. We were 3 generations who had very little experience and we all loved it. We laughed and made special memories, and the best bit is that we all managed to make something which we will treasure. Definitely got the pottery bug! Thank you Fae for such a wonderful experience!

What a wonderful experience I had here yesterday, I booked a hand building day course for making a guggle jug and look what I made! The course was relaxed, fun and a beautiful lunch was provided too. Fae, was a brilliant tutor, calm and passionate and knowledgeable, book up you won't be disappointed. Thank you for a great day, I can't wait to come back to glaze my whale!

Such a fun (if not tricky - but in a good way 😉) activity to do as a group. Fae and her Dad were so supportive, gently guiding and advising what to do, including reminding me to keep the clay wet, and stepping in to support when the wheel got the better of me. We booked another session to decorate our pots and this was just as much fun. A great mindful activity in a relaxed but professional environment. Highly recommended

We had the most fantastic private pottery class with Fae at The Pottery Lodge to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday. From start to finish she was incredibly accommodating and created a truly special experience for all of us — despite our very mixed levels of creativity and experience! She was even brilliant with my 4-year-old, who stayed engaged and happy for the entire session. Fae struck the perfect balance between being informative and making the session feel calm, fun and relaxing. We all left feeling inspired, completely at ease, and genuinely wanting to sign up for pottery lessons ourselves. It was the most memorable way to celebrate a milestone birthday — highly recommend.
