What a awesome experience with Inner Strength Pottery. A fabulous birthday treat from my husband with a unique and inspirational potter. Rachel is a ball of vibrant, positive energy. With a warm and friendly welcome from the moment we drove on to her estate, it's like we knew her for years. Her passion for creativity and all things pottery are abundant in her words, her surroundings and from her teachings. The time flew by, enjoying the wheel of clay fortune and having a good chat whilst sipping tea and having time to connect with the art. Definitely a great experience for those who want to try the pottery wheel and just relax. Also...Rachel just makes such beautiful pieces, recommend checking out her store.

I can’t recommend this enough! Rachel was a fabulous teacher, easy to follow and thorough. Really encouraging and patient too. I am so looking forward to some more sessions! I am very chuffed to have made 5 pieces in my 3 hours! 😃

As a total beginner I didn't expect to achieve so much in just one session! Rachel is a fantastic teacher, and having such an intimate space means it was just me and my mum and we could go at our own particular pace. We learned so much, and I can't wait to do more. What a wonderful, theraputic hobby. I have a feeling I might be signing up for the 10 week course soon!

I had such a great time today learning how to create a bowl on the potters wheel. Rachel really knows her craft very well. Learning with Rachel was fantastic; she is very patient!! Rachel goes through everything with you first then you get your hands dirty (and jeans in my case). It was brilliant, such a skill which I can honestly say I don’t have…..yet! Thanks Rachel for your time and patience. I really enjoyed myself ☺️

Highly recommended afternoon in the delightful company of Rachel at Inner Strength Pottery. She is an amazing teacher and we thoroughly enjoyed creating several pieces with her under her expert guidance. Treat yourself and enjoy the satisfaction of something special made by your own fair hands.

I had a wonderful time at Inner Strength Pottery. Rachel, the owner, is kind, engaging and a really relaxing presence during our couples throwing lesson. The studios, whilst small, are set in the countryside with beautiful views. There are two wheels for people to use, with a third being a demonstration wheel which Rachel used to show us the whole process slowed down and then again at the normal pace that she works. Expect to get messy, though that's half the fun of it, and also expect to have hands on tuition. I've been to other classes that are very 'here's some clay and have fun', but this is not what this workshop was. It felt very collaborative and as though I made real progress in my understanding of how the whole thing works. TLDR: had a wonderful time, you should go too!

Myself and my daughter had a lovely afternoon with Rachel learning how to throw. Rachel is very knowledgeable and has a great teaching style which is both informative and relaxed. She gave us the tools to start throwing with confidence. Having only two of us meant that Rachel was on hand when either of us had a questions or needed more instruction. Would highly recommend if you want to start your pottery journey in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
