I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend throwing course. Imogen is an excellent teacher. She went through each stage very clearly and by then end of the two day course the table was full of amazing pots! I will definitely be implementing the skills that I learnt in the future. Thank you!

A warm welcome by Imogen into a lovely studio. I particularly liked the wheels facing into the room it made the experience sociable and allowed Imogen to support our progress. The 5 morning weekly course was well structured to develop skills and knowledge with clear demonstrations. Very pleased with my 5 pieces and looking forward to returning next year.

I had bought my wife a voucher for Moon Studio Ceramics and we spent a day immersed in clay and creativity on a pottery wheel experience run by Imogen—and it was absolutely brilliant. From the moment we arrived, Imogen made everyone feel relaxed and welcome. Her passion for pottery was infectious, and her calm, encouraging style helped even the most novice among us feel right at home with the wheel. Under her guidance, I managed to throw several pots, each one slightly more recognisable than the last! Imogen's ability to explain the process step by step—with patience and a great sense of humour—really made the learning experience enjoyable and stress-free. Whether your clay became a bowl, vase, or a charming wobbly creation, she celebrated everyone's work with genuine enthusiasm. The studio itself had a lovely vibe—well-equipped, peaceful, and just the right setting to lose yourself in the moment. There’s something incredibly therapeutic about working with clay, and Imogen knew exactly how to cultivate that atmosphere. I'd highly recommend the experience to anyone curious about pottery or just looking for a unique, hands-on escape from everyday life. It was messy, mindful, and hugely satisfying. Thanks again, Imogen—you've sparked a new hobby!

Imogen was a fantastic teacher, she was clear on how to improve and we all made fast progress throughout the day. It was very hands on and we had lots of time to experiment and practise. By the end of the day we had a great selection of pieces and I'm looking forward to seeing how they come out of the kiln in a few weeks time!

Excellent day on this one day potters wheel taster. Imogen is a great, and patient, tutor! There was lots of time using the wheel, and we all had one each. I made about 8 or 9 things and we chose 3 each at the end to be fired and take home in 6 weeks. Great fun!
