I've just finished up on a 5-week pottery course with Kim and I had such a great time! As a complete beginner, I was a bit nervous it might be overwhelming, but Kim's laid-back vibe, expert guidance and endless patience made it such an enjoyable experience. Her knowledge and tips helped me go from completely clueless to actually feeling a little proud with some of my work and I'm looking forward to returning in the future. The class was fun, relaxed and a perfect way to get creative. Highly recommend!

6 months ago I had never used a pottery wheel before. I am now throwing large salad bowls with 3kg of clay. I never thought I would be able to achieve this. Kim is a fantastic teacher. She is generous and very knowledgable.

Kim has built an amazing studio and community on a beautiful farm! I've returned for many of the 5 week courses now and I couldn't recommend them enough. You have plenty of freedom, whilst having expert tuition from Kim on hand and the chance to try out throwing, hand building and glazing, all in the space of 5 weeks. Kim really goes above and beyond and the students are always so lovely and encouraging too. Thank you Kim!

Well I would not consider myself an especially creative or artistic person, but sometimes it's great to try something new. Having just finished the 5 week beginner course with Kim steering at the helm, and an especially lovely group of fellow students alongside offering encouragement, help and support, I must say this has been an amazing experience, and one which I would definitely recommend. You would need a very long guage indeed to measure how much Kim's time, patience and shared experience goes in making this something anyone could enjoy. Thank you everyone there, but especially to Kim.

I’ve done a couple of the 5-week pottery courses with Kim now. I have loved every minute of it and would absolutely recommend everyone to have a go if they can! Everyone there is so lovely and the atmosphere is amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Kim is a generous and kind teacher and really encourages you to explore your own creativity. She has built a wonderful space at Vallis Farm for people to learn and grow more confident with clay and ceramics, which is evident in the amount of people returning to her classes again and again. I would heartily recommend her evening pottery class and her throwing class, for anyone looking to meet friendly potters and get involved in learning about ceramics.

Kim is an excellent teacher and a lovely person. You'll learn a wide range of skills, forms and glazes in the introduction to pottery course. The studio is also on a beautiful farm!
