Creative Bloc

Beware! If you attend the wheel throwing classes here you may end up falling in love with pottery and contemplate giving up your career to sit and make wonky pots for all eternity. In all seriousness, the organisers have created a lovely, welcoming space and it's always a joy to attend. Couldn't have asked for a better tutor than Ruth who is very personable and calm/patient with beginners (I've heard the other instructors are great too). My classmates and I all signed up as ongoing members after completing the class as we enjoyed it so much and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend getting involved!

Booked a Mother's Day workshop for my mum and I.. A fabulous experience, well organised with everything required at our work tables. The lead potters were so enthusiastic about their subject, very knowledgeable and on hand for demonstrations, tips and help all through the class. The class was fun, well organised and relaxed. Being mother's day, it was made more special by the beverage and cake offerings and a fabulous playlist We were really pleased with our pottery plaques that we made and painted, can't wait to get them back after glazing!! Can't recommend highly enough, we will certainly be back for other classes and workshops.

I took part in the beginners pottery wheel class yesterday and absolutely loved it. Our tutor Francesca was so lovely. She explained everything in a very easy to follow way and gently guided us through the process. Can't recommend this class enough!

I recently attended a 2 week porcelain jewelry making workshop at Creative Bloc Glasgow and absolutely loved it! Addison is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher and the environment is warm and welcoming! I’ve never done any form of pottery or jewelry making and was amazed at the beautiful jewelry I managed to create! I will definitely be on the lookout for future workshops at Creative Bloc Glasgow!

Went to the taster throwing class today and I was so much fun, great teacher would 100% recommend to anyone who fancies there hand at throwing

. I just LOVED the Porcelian Jewellery Workshop at Creative Bloc!!! It was so good to be learning something new WITH others that you could chat with and ask for advice and feedback. Creative Bloc is a lovely accepting and supportive creative space. Addison is such a relaxed facilitator and very generous with her knowledge AND I made so much pretty stuff!!!! You can too...😉

Warm and welcoming studio. I loved the porcelain jewellery making course. I have a little experience with clay but my mum had none and we both felt very supported. The studio is an absolute gem and we will be back.
