I had a great experience at this studio. I attended 2 different sessions to try my hands on ceramic hand building. They were fantastic and i would definitely go for a full course. Usual class sizes are about 18-20 people. They provide all materials and an apron for duration of class. What you make you get to keep it once they are fired and ready in 3+ weeks. The colour that comes with class price is usually some ecru beige shade but you can ask more colour for extra payment. The limited seasonal 2 hours sessions are currently £40. The format of class is we are all sat in a long rectangular table with materials and tools ready. You come wear their apron then the instructor explains the steps providing practical demonstration. Any questions on this subject are welcomed. It takes around 30-40 mins then we are left to follow through the steps shown while being overseen by the instructor. Best is to see some youtube videos of whatever you are going to learn to get a little idea and any design you wish to try on within the limitations of your learned skills. Also i recommend bringing biodegradable antibacterial wipes to wipe your clay hand and mY be your phone after class or you can always go to the restroom. Our instructor was Zoe and she was great. I add my creations which are not so nice but they are my first ever attempts that i am very fond of. Thank you.

Fantastic class, we really enjoyed it and made some incredible pieces with help from Zoe. The class went so fast in a relaxed but creative atmosphere. Definitely recommend to anyone who is beginner in pottery crafts and likes to do something different. Totally worth the money.

It seemed difficult to find glaze mixing courses in Scotland that I could attend weekly and not need accommodation. Then I found out about the craft pottery studio. I signed up for the five week course in Glasgow, every Tuesday evening. My course was taught by Brandon Pena, who was very knowledgeable and easy-going. There are other courses worth checking out also. I'd recommend this course to anyone who wants to increase their glaze mixing knowledge. Many thanks to Brandon for his time and patience.

Loved my 5 week beginner’s hand building class. Stephanie was great and I would highly recommend the course for anyone who’s thinking should I or shouldn’t I 🤎

Lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for the Craft Pottery, I managed to do 2 classes, one at the pottery wheel and one for a hand-building pottery experience, both of which I really enjoyed. The tutors were both generous with time and patient with those of us new to learning about working with clay and I really feel I learned a lot. The 2 hours went in really fast and yet we all managed to create a finished product (left with the studio for kiln/glazing process and later collected). I never imagined i would achieve anything so 'finished' looking and would definitely recommend these classes. Many thanks
