Neighbourhood Pottery Studio

The Neighbourhood studio is a really welcoming place to learn pottery. I was completely new and started with the beginners courses. The teachers clearly love ceramics and put you at ease while guiding you through the basics. The members of the studio are so friendly offering advice and sharing top tips. I’ve just completed the wheel weekend course where I have refreshed on basics and learned new skills. I really enjoyed it and would definitely book on another one. If you want to learn pottery I can’t recommend this studio enough.

We recently completed a beginners pottery course and we had the best introduction to pottery. It covers a good range of hand building, slab and wheel throwing to help you discover what you’re good at and what you like. The classes are a great size - you’re encouraged to come with ideas but also get 1:1 support and guidance. We had Rachel as our teacher and Casey dropped in too - both brilliant and very supportive. Great value for money and we’re very happy with our little haul of pottery crafts we made. Can’t to book an improvers class. Highly recommend!

Super fun, relaxed and friendly – the best pottery class EVER. Casey will get you from zero to 'throw-down' hero and you'll surprise your self just how easy she makes it and how much fun it is. I made two lovely little 'pinch-pot' vases, one slab-built vase and I threw a rather lovely (and almost perfect) sake pot. I can't recommend this class highly enough. Can't wait to go back in the new year.

Hugely lovely people and a very informative class. I learned a lot!

We booked a private session. There were 5 of us & we each had a wheel for throwing. Ruby, our teacher, explained everything very clearly & demonstrated each step of the process. We loved our experience and each came away with some items that we could be proud of. Highly recommended!
