Pots on Pier Street

So me and my little cousin went today and it was absolutely amazing. Sue was so lovely and she was very helpful with explaining what everything is and what to do. Only thing I will say is as an autistic person, I'd recommend bringing headphones or something if you get overstimulated easily because it got quite full at one point (it's half term so understandable and no fault of the places) so it got a little bit noisy. Will definitely be coming back at some point with my cousin, she's already decided she's going to do a plate 😂

I had an amazing experience at this pottery painting studio! Sue was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure we felt comfortable and offered great tips along the way. The studio itself had such a cozy, creative atmosphere. We can’t wait to collect them after they’ve been in the kiln and see the finished product. I couldn’t recommend this place enough—definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing experience!

We had a nice time with family, reasonably priced, good atmosphere, but the lady working was rude. She kept eavesdropping and making comments on how we were painting with ‘the wrong brushes’ and constantly making unnecessary recommendations which made me a bit uncomfortable. She was quite rude at times even as the studio manager and wouldn’t take the hint even as we said thank you and we’d been several times before. Otherwise recommend 👍

Really lovely space and staff. The lady made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Pots on Pier Street has a really nice atmosphere, everyone who came in was greeted like an old friend. There is a wide range of pottery to choose frrom and the prices are very reasonable. While painting you don't feel rushed or timed unlike other places we've been. Highly recommend for children and adults alike!

We went to celebrate relatives birthday and the staff were patronising and unprofessional, making comments on guests and their choices in the pottery, and complaining about illness whilst working in a customer facing role near Christmas. They were rude when collecting the pots, and acted like we were extremely inconvenient from the offset of walking in to paint the pots.

This is a fab place and everything was fully explained to us, so as someone who has never done this before it was easy to do in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We had a drink whilst doing it and my daughter wasn't rushed when she ran over creating her masterpiece 😊 We will certainly be booking again and will highly recommend to friends and family.

Really lovely evening at the adult-only paint session (which I think is a brilliant idea to do!) Very relaxed and enjoyable. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Lots of lovely items to paint. We had a fantastic experience and will be back!
