Fantastic! Took my mum for a birthday present taster session. Both really enjoyed ourselves and Jo was really helpful. Made us a drink on arrival and gave us a great demonstration on how to get going. I emailed before and received a prompt response to my query. Great calm atmosphere and supportive environment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an entry into pottery. I'm looking forward to picking up our pots. Thanks again Jo! 🙂

We paid £65 for a clay day. We tried contacting for more info about refreshments and logistics and didn’t get a reply from emails and calls. I’m not sure that the tutor enjoys her job as she’s not overly helpful or approachable. It would have been nice to get hints and tips and ideas of pieces we could make but we were very much left to fend for ourselves which begs the question what was the £65 paying for since we paid for the clay on top! It wasn’t a cheap day and we were told we could make our own coffee but there wasn’t milk - not even a biscuit? A bit stingy considering the price. I wish I had read these reviews before I booked as I’m now worried that we will struggle to get our pieces after the 6 week (!!!) wait time - we were told to ring and chase her but we know that didn’t do much previously. She made a deal about ‘groups that don’t clear up’ clearly to get us to do all the tidying up - again just all a little bit prickly rather than a nice comfortable experience. I wouldn’t return to this venue but would try working with clay again elsewhere.

I was bought the taster session as a present and had a great time. It was a relaxed environment and Jo was on hand to help with any queries. We collected our makes a few weeks after the class and was well worth the wait. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone. I’m definitely planning on going again too.

The clayroom is an amazing space to learn how to make pottery. I took a lot of classes where I was able to make exactly what I wanted in my own way with freedom and support when I asked. I was then a member of the studio for some time which helped me to develop the confidence and independence to set up my own tiny studio at home.

Lack of communication and customer service terrible.Myself and my daughter went to a pottery class April 17th 2022 and had a good day,we both made 2 - 3 items each which we paid for (use of clay) and was informed it would take 4-6 weeks until ready for collection,it is now June 13th and we have heard nothing despite me sending emails and leaving messages on the phone.Nobody has returned calls/messages. Shame as this has ruined our experience and we wouldn’t recommend now to others.

I booked a clay day for my boyfriend's birthday. I haven't received a booking confirmation or any further information. I have tried sending an email through the website, sending a message on instagram and phoning (it just goes through to voicemail). It's now a week before his birthday, and I still don't have confirmation and now need to get him an alternative present at the last minute. Feel like I have been scammed at this point. Really terrible customer service.

My niece and myself went to the Taster Class and have now collected our pieces. We had a great time and although our pottery won’t win any prizes, it was a fun afternoon.
