Paint a Pot & Pottery Classes at The Pottery Cave Studios Curborough Lichfield

I had my baby shower here on the 29th November and it was so lovely. The staff couldn't have done more to make it an enjoyable and stress free experience. From the point of booking they were friendly and helpful. They were really accommodating and we paid a small amount of money per person for some sandwiches, only to turn up on the day to find they had also arranged a huge supply of cakes and other sweet things. They were informative about the pottery painting and all of our items have been returned looking amazing. I am so pleased I chose the Pottery Cave for my baby shower.

I booked a pottery wheel session for myself and my mum. Caroline was so attentive and helpful throughout. It was a lovely experience. We weren’t rushed at all, Caroline gave a clear demonstration and then guided us through our two pots and helped us create our mini masterpieces. Would definitely recommend if you want to try something a bit different. Such a relaxing experience as we had the entire studio to ourselves. I’m very excited to go back and paint them in a few weeks time!

I mean the fact I’ve been two weekends in a row says it all really doesn’t it… The first time was super spur of the moment and we were very lucky that someone hadn’t turned up so had their space (their loss). The ladies in there are so welcoming and helpful and it’s such a nice calm, chilled atmosphere. After sending my friend some photos we ending up booking for the following weekend! I think it’s the quietist we have ever been. Such a lovely escape for a few hours. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and even come round offering drinks. Jamie the water boy never lets a glass go empty! There’s a big choice of pottery pieces to choose from and I think I have about another 10 I’m eyeing up! There may just be a slight theme for everyone’s Christmas presents this year!

We had an incredibly relaxing and creative afternoon at the Pottery Cave. Caroline was extremely helpful explaining about how to prep the pottery we had chosen and all of the glazes we could choose from. Jamie (Mr Caroline) was extremely friendly and made sure we were well hydrated all afternoon bringing us glasses of water & squash in the 30 degree heat! We were booked in for a 2 hour session but were having so much fun that we ended up staying for closer to 3 and there was absolutely no pressure to leave or rush what we were doing. We cannot recommend this studio enough and will be back soon!

What an absolute gem of an afternoon! Super cute studio, incredibly relaxed, reasonable prices and the lovely guy could not have been more friendly- whilst still allowing everyone their space. A hot drink was included in the studio fee, (or squash if hot drinks are not your thing!) Great selection of blank pieces to get creative with! In terms of accessibility, the lower floor has step- free access and whilst it is a cosy place, there was enough space for a wheelchair to get around with minimal faff! Thank you ever so much. Can’t wait to see what our pieces turn out like when I collect! I will be back!

Wow! We had our daughter's 7th birthday at the clay party, absolutely fantastic! Caroline and Gemma were brilliant throughout. The kids had a fantastic times and the parents thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for something that is different. It was brilliant, highly recommend it fantastic! Thank you so much! X
