The BEST pottery classes! The Tuesday morning sessions are the highlight of my week. Cosmin really is a wonderful teacher - patient, encouraging, helpful and funny! He's an absolute master ceramicist and watching him on the wheel is an experience in itself. We try our best to emulate him and generally fall short! But we learn so much and have so much fun in the process. Whenever someone has a 'disaster', Cosmin is there to (literally) pick up the pieces. He's a genuine clay whisperer - he seems only to touch the disfigured blob I've managed to massacre, and it magically re-forms as his hands work seemingly without effort. The sessions are super friendly and supportive, but best of all is the way Cosmin gets you on the wheel within minutes of turning up. Even my very first class saw me produce three pieces that have since been glazed and fired and look charmingly 'rustic'. It's completely addictive, and the failures are part of the learning process. I can't think of anyone better to learn from than Cosmin!

I’ve just finished a 6-week pottery class here and it was genuinely a wonderful experience. Learning from Cosmin was the highlight as he was a supportive, patient teacher and I felt lucky to be in his class. The atmosphere was calm and easygoing, with jazz playing in the background, which made it a nice way to switch off after work. I’m going to miss my Tuesday sessions and look forward to signing up for another course soon!

I really love this studio. I have taken two 6-week throwing courses and I love everything about them. I really like how Cosmin takes you through the whole process from throwing to trimming to glazing. I am very happy with my own progress (due to the great teaching and breaking down the steps in a way that makes so much sense). It has been a great journey so far and I can't wait to be back. A word of warning - wheel pottery is highly addictive!

I’ve been taking classes here for almost 2 years now and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! Cosmin is an incredible teacher, and is always willing to tailor his approach if he notices you struggling. The studio has a friendly and intimate vibe, classes are small enough to get enough individual attention and it’s just been a very lovely experience overall. I started as an absolute beginner and took the 6 week course several times to get a enough practice and have done the 9 week practice course a few times as well. This is great place to start your ceramics journey and would recommend it for beginners and more experienced potters.

I've been taking the classes at the studio for almost 2 years now, and I couldn't be happier. Cosmin is an amazing teacher, always willing to help and inspire me to do better. The studio is great, everyone always friendly and classes are small enough so you can get the support you need. I started as a complete beginner, I tried the 5 weeks, 6 weeks and the sculpture classes, and I'm proud to see how I've been improving. Thanks Cosmin for everything so far, I cannot wait to start the next class!

Crispy Cracker

I’m in absolute love with my ceramics! I use them on a daily basis, and they bring me lots of joy and satisfaction. I took a 5 week beginner pottery class which was my first pottery experience. Cosmin is an excellent tutor- He gave us the autonomy to express our creativity whilst guiding us through different techniques using clay. I was very slow at times but he was patient and helped me when needed. I really enjoyed it and will definitely want to continue learning at his studio.

I have just done a taster this morning. I really recommend it to anyone. Great instructions and excellent fun. Everyone was a beginner, so felt very comfortable with my lack of ability. It was a birthday present, such a good idea.
