We had such a beautiful and memorable experience at this pottery studio for our 30th wedding anniversary. The space was warm, creative and welcoming — and the whole process felt very personal. We received a very nice and warm welcome by KC (manager) and Leila upon arrival, which made us immediately feel comfortable and special. But honestly — the heart of our session was Leila. Her style of teaching is truly exceptional. She combines professionalism with kindness, and explains every step in a very clear, calm and friendly way. Leila has an amazing ability to make you feel relaxed, confident and creative — even if it’s your very first time. Leila guided us with patience and genuine care, and she made the whole experience feel intimate, meaningful and full of joy. We especially enjoyed the part where we decorated and underglazed our Hug Vase — creating our own unique piece together to mark this special occasion. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a unique, heartfelt and beautiful experience.
Absolutely love this place and their classes! Staff is super nice and friendly. You are supported throughout the class and make beautiful creations ! 😌🌟
The pottery throwing taster class was such a great experience. Nylah was an amazing tutor — so friendly, engaging, and incredibly patient. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process feel relaxed and fun. She even made a pot for my mum at the end, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’ll definitely be booking again. Thank you!
I participated in the collage and ceramic workshop and it has been really fun! It’s such a unique and creative idea to combine the two art form. The studio is such a cozy space and the instructors were very helpful throughout. Would recommend attending the workshops here 🙂
I took the Neriage Pottery Workshop at the weekend and it was brilliant! Lisa was super fun and friendly whilst also teaching the clay mixing techniques of neriage and offering really technical, detailed explanations of different skills involved in throwing on the wheel. There was plenty of time to try a variety of skills (and also make some mistakes and try them again!) and I was amazed by what I was able to achieve under Lisa’s guidance! The studio at Cone 8 is really welcoming and classes are run in small groups so you get plenty of tutor time. Would 100% recommend!
I have completed an 8 week beginners ceramics course with KC at Cone8. She is a fabulous teacher focussing the lessons on building technical skill but allowing us to explore our own creative direction. Over the duration of the course I was able to make a wide range of different ceramics and loved every minute. Working with clay is a great way to get in touch with nature and focus on something different to your day to day. The studio is well equipped and you’ll be comfortable getting creative in all weathers here.
We had an amazing time at this pottery studio for our 30th wedding anniversary. Leila, our pottery instructor, was truly wonderful — patient, talented, and so kind. Leila guided us through wheel throwing and helped us decorate and underglaze our own Hug Vase, making the whole experience deeply personal and fun. Lily took lovely photos for us and recorded beautiful videos during the session, capturing moments we’ll always treasure. The entire session was beautifully organised and absolutely worth the money. Special thanks to Leila and Lily for creating such a wonderful time for me and my husband. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, creative, and meaningful experience.
