Create Destroy Studios - Islington

The worst studio experience I’ve ever had. The booking system is easy and the studios are convenient, but the customer service is shockingly bad. Twice now the speakers haven’t worked, and on this latest visit the out-of-hours support person was rude, refused to pick up the phone, and literally shouted at us over WhatsApp to "just do what I told you." After we sent a calm message about the disrespect, they finally called back with excuses ranging from being tired to someone "climbing the studio walls." They weren’t able to fix the speaker issue so we wasted over 90 minutes sending pointless messages and being spoken to like incompetent children. We were promised a refund and a rebook at a studio of our choice — only to later be told that any audio issues are "our responsibility" and that the studio we requested was suddenly unavailable due to "noise restrictions." Why allow it to be booked at all? Mind you, we did not get a response from the booking team, the person behind WhatsApp shared this information. This isn’t an isolated issue & I’ve witnessed this on multiple occasions — other dancers clearly know the system never works, some even bring their own speakers. These owners don’t care about dancers or the profession. They just want to collect passive income while providing a broken, unsupported service.

Atrended a dance class which was teally enjoyable however, the Fire alarm went off and there were no staff on site to input the code to stop it. This is a risk and should be looked at. Needless to say, we had to abandon our class;(

Fantastic space, great prize. The room has character, has good speakers, oak floors, big mirrors and is in a super location. The instructions on how to find and enter were clear. Can not recommend this space high enough.

The space was perfect for two of us to practice a routine. It's light and clean with a mirror covering one wall. The fact that they also provide a good quality bluetooth speaker made it even better. Accessing the building was easy and smooth too. Incredibly good value. I'd HIGHLY recommend hiring this space, and we will definitely be back!

Great space for dance rehearsals. Great location, easy to access and clean and bright studio. Only point I'd make is it was a really hot day when I booked and the fan only faced one way towards the wall and didn't make much difference but other than that I would use the space again!

A beautiful, open space- great for dancers to rehearse and play. The studio is located within a co-workspace hub and the whole environment felt safe. I will definitely book again!

Great space - really clean, bright and modern with a good Bluetooth speaker. Straightforward booking process online and clear instructions to access the studio and get everything set up. Would definitely recommend.
