Vosy and lovely place! The course is so interesting! Freya and her father are great teachers and really engaging! It was my first time and I joined the two hours beginners pottery class and it's been truly amazing and I've managed to create lots of pots of different sizes! Highly recommended if you want to learn or just have a different funny experience!

I had a lovely experience at Freya's Clay Club and would (and have) recommended it to those wanting to learn to work with clay. The studio, tucked behind the busy Kilburn High Road, was spacious, perfectly equipped and calming. The instruction was always clear and helpful and I have enjoyed every step of the process of learning the basics of pottery.

I've been coming to the studio for over 3 years now, and under Freya's tuition I've gone from a complete beginner to being (I hope) pretty good! Whether you're a beginner just learning to throw or a bit more advanced and just need a bit of guidance on the best way of doing something, Freya is a wonderful teacher. She's really good at showing you techniques and giving ideas that enable you create in your own style. The studio itself is a lovely place to work. The atmosphere is friendly and chilled, and has all the tools and materials you need to produce amazing thrown or hand built ceramics. The glaze selection in particular is really good, and there are regularly new and interesting glazes to experiment with. I would give Freya's clay club 6 stars if I could!

Freya and her dad Chris run a fantastic studio. The atmosphere is super chilled, refreshingly friendly and fun; a wonderful place to unwind and play with clay after a hectic week at work. I first bobbed along to my inaugural clay class with my cousin; arriving as an absolute beginner, with zero expectations. I was quickly hooked, thanks to Freya’s brilliant teaching, caring guidance and inspiring creativity. Two years on and I’m now a regular weekend potter. It’s wonderfully freeing as everyone works at their own pace, with one to one tuition on hand as needed. Freya is a fabulous and supportive teacher, devoting love and care to each and every project her students roll out. She is a true inspiration! Thank you Freya, Chris and Yolande for sharing your passion for clay.

Classes at Freya’s clay club are the highlight of my week!! I have just completed my first 4 week course with virtually no throwing experience and I have picked up so many new techniques and skills. Freya has a wonderful style of teaching, very encouraging and supportive and always on hand to help fix a throwing mishap. She creates a calm and friendly atmosphere in the studio which make the weekly classes a real joy to attend – Freya even offers to make tea during the class! The studio is a creative space with all the tools and equipment that is needed. I will definitely be signing up for another 4 week course!

I have been to a quite a few classes and am always greeted with patience and encouragement.
