light factory workshops and artists studios

I had a studio at the Light Factory for approximately one year, and would have stayed longer if I hadn't moved far across town. The studios are designed by artists for artists: modern, spacious, well-maintained, and house a warm, friendly, and dedicated community. They are not the cheapest option, but certainly very good value considering the quality on offer, which is head and shoulders above most other artist studios in London. The studios are a stone's throw from Willesden Junction station, and easily reachable by tube, overground, and bus.

Great studios! Spent three happy years there, studios are newly refurbished rooms are big with lots of light! So many wonderful artists and artisans working and inspiring others. Truly great community. Big advantage that studios have 24/7 access, and really secure. Alex and Paul are kind and helpful.

I rented a studio at Light Factory from mid 2023 to mid 2024. The experience was great: if not for other reasons I would have stayed longer. The studio space was big and recently refurbished, as many of the spaces are. New velux windows let in lots of natural light, and also the space had plenty of outlets, which was something I needed. Everybody who worked there was friendly and welcoming, and it was always interesting to see such a diverse range of types of craft (artists, stonemasons, furniture makers, curtain makers, and more). Alex and Paul were great landlords, always available, and made settling in very easy. Highly highly recommend

We stayed at the Light Factory Studio for almost a year and had a great experience. The people working in the other studios and those renting the space were friendly and welcoming. It’s a warm, easygoing place — highly recommend.

Alex is a great guy and takes a lot of care over the studios. They are clean and tidy and everyone who works their is very friendly. Would highly recommend light factory workshops to anyone who needs a good space to work and create things. Nearly impossible to find good workshop studio spaces in London and I believe these are amongst the best.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Light Factory to anyone seeking a space that combines a great blend of light, airy studio spaces with a welcoming community. I think it's an ideal place for artists, creators, and individuals who want to thrive in an environment that sparks creativity and fosters connections.

Had the most amazing time making artwork at the studio. My studio had excellent lighting. This studio has real walls and one can make a mess and noise.
