Mayhap Studio

I was a member at Mayhap Studio for over a year and loved my experience there! The community at Mayhap is one of a kind, and it's always a blast to connect with other members in the studio, during Q&A sessions, or at ceramics markets. I also highly recommend taking lessons from Jule, who is an incredibly patient and kind teacher. She's able to teach anyone from a first-timer to a more experienced potter!

Incredible session! Jule was absolutely brilliant and we had the best time. She was patient, informative and so warm and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Jule is always so helpful and amazing. I first did some lessons with her and she really helped me build up my confidence with the wheel. Then she did a piece for me for a wedding gift and it was just gorgeous!

I would highly recommend Mayhap for anyone interested in learning about pottery. I had my first lesson in October - a birthday present - and have just completed my 3rd lesson and looking forward to more. Jule is an excellent instructor. She explains and demonstrates the various techniques very carefully and clearly - I’ve found each session very rewarding and satisfying. An excellent way to spend a few hours!

Had a blast with Jule learning the different pottery methods one-on-one session (a present from my wife). Located just 15mins from Kentish Town tube or Gospel Oak overground it's ideally located and a great personal space. I hope MayHap goes from strength to strength and lots more people are introduced to the therapeutic qualities that building with clay offers. I wasn't expecting to make anything in my first session but with Jule's brilliant guidance I ended up with 5! She'll even fire and glaze them after... can't wait to see my little expresso cups, saucers and snack bowl.

Lovely studio to have a pottery session in and Jule is very helpful and kind! We really enjoyed learning some hand building techniques as well as glazing! Our stuff has come out very well from being fired and Jule did it all very quickly. The firing service is also very affordable! Thank you 🙂

I had the best experience in Mayhap Studio! Jule is so kind and very supportive, it was easy to learn pottery with her (even though it was my first time). She answered to all of my questions and gave me some ideas and tips. I’m glad I came across this place. It was better than I thought it would be! Highly recommend, trust me, you won’t be disappointed 🙂
