We had the most wonderful experience at this pottery workshop! I’m already recommending to my friends, and sure I’ll be back myself. It’s therapeutic, creative, and such a refreshing experience. A real highlight and highly recommended! From the very beginning, arranging everything with Melisa was an absolute pleasure - she was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely lovely to deal with. Our family workshop was led by the amazing Yael, who was patient, encouraging, and brilliant at guiding a group of complete beginners. With her help, each of us created three beautiful pieces we’re genuinely proud of. The studio itself is a gem: well equipped, tastefully designed, and filled with Melisa’s own stunning creations - each one a perfect little masterpiece and truly inspiring to see up close.

I first saw her ceramics in Roslyn, my favorite coffee shop in London. And of course I have her coffee mug at home for my every morning coffee:) I searched her instagram and found out she’s doing classes. The course is structured by 3 sessions, each for up to an hour. Usually it will be done in pairs (as there’s two wheels in her cosy studio), and if you apply single, you will be paired up. However I was lucky enough to take the course alone. I have took several ceramics classes, but it was THE BEST class I took! You will learn the techniques, as she will take you through step by step, but also you get the freedom to try by yourself (and she is always there to correct in case something goes wrong). I particularly like her glazes as the colours are all very gentle and beautiful, yet was surprised to find out that she’s making the glazes by her self! In the glazing session, you will get to chose the colours and the patterns. I have made 5 plates and mugs, which all turned out beautifully and I really enjoyed the session!! It’s only 3 classes so no huge commitment, and highly recommend if you are interested in pottery or planning to start something new as a New Years resolution!! Thank you Melisa for being a great teacher:)!!

Melisa’s studio is a lovely supportive environment for both new and experienced potters. I’ve taken a few classes and the tutoring has been so helpful - the small format is great for getting 1:1 guidance. Melisa’s drop-in sessions are also amazing to practice outside of class time, and the studio is stocked with everything you need to work independently. Love the community Melisa has built and I’ll miss it when I move!

I was gifted a voucher for a hand building pottery session and I had the best first pottery experience thanks to Melisa. She is a bliss, the studio is lovely and the class was so relaxing. I’m so pleased with the result and I love my little pieces! I’m afraid she will have to see me again… 😍

Fantastic taster of using the wheel and glazing pots. Melisa's one-to-one teaching meant a lot got done in each hour with her. Very inspiring lessons. Great to see the fruits of her work all around me in the studio too!

My partner and I really enjoyed our session. Melisa still put the session on for us even though there were not enough people attending to normally run it. Our host was lovely, engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. We were both very happy with our pots and I’m sure this won’t be the end of our pottery journey. Thank you

I did a 1:1 pottery course with Melisa and absolutely loved it! I learnt a lot of techniques and made some beautiful pots to take home. Melisa's teaching style is perfect for someone that has an interest in ceramics but no practical experience, she is very good at adapting to your individual learning pace and supporting you throughout the journey. And the classes were so relaxing that I would have stayed in the studio forever! I would highly recommend if you are interested in trying something new in a friendly environment. It's so great to learn from a talented independent ceramicist!
