I had the best experience trying out pottery here with Mikhail! In four sessions + a fifth glazing session, I made 13 final pieces - including matching mug sets, bowls and plates. Mikhail gives attention to every student in the small classes (3-5 people) and anytime I made a mistake he helped me fix it. If you’re looking to make huge improvements in your pottery skills and leave with beautiful, usable pieces, I highly suggest the four-class pack!

We did the 2 hour pottery taster class. Mihaly was really friendly and took time to explain how to make the verious things. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to either give pottery a go or for just a fun experiance. We can not wait to pick up what we made once it has been fired. The 2 hour experience with Mihaly was amazing, so much learned and looking for to returning soon. Thank you Mihaly.

Excellent class! My first experience potting with my partner and we absolutely had a blast. The mentor was so helpful and took us through all the steps with a great nature. I can definitely recommend this as a super date or fun activity for couples.

It was a great session! First time doing pottery, we made 4 things and painted them afterwards. Mihaly was super patient and saved my vase many times haha The atmosphere was really good and cozy, would definitely come back for another class!

What a fun way to start the weekend. Great tuition by Mihal, Maddie and Jago. A most relaxed morning creating 4 pieces. After making the pieces we painted them ahead of their firing and glazing. Looking forward to seeing the finished results. Thank you. I hope to return again.

I was gifted the 4 lesson beginners course with Mihaly and I loved it so much! It was really nice having one-to-one lessons on the pottery wheel, being able to go at my own pace and ask whatever questions I needed to. Mihaly was so friendly and helpful. It was so much fun and I can’t wait to go back for follow up sessions. By the end of the course I had made 4 mugs, 4 bowls, 4 vases and 2 plates - now I need to find somewhere to put them all! I can’t recommend New Cross Pottery enough.
