I have done various courses here with Ewelina and it has been truly wonderful working in this space and being apart of a community here. I started with zero throwing experience, and with her guidance, can now confidently throw my own peices. The studio has such a warm, inviting atmosphere and the garden is beautiful, especially in the summer time. Would 100% recommend if you are looking to start learning how to make ceramics!
I took the Ceramics for All course with Ewelina and it genuinely exceeded my expectations. We had so much creative freedom — Ewelina guided us just enough to keep things on track but let everyone explore their own ideas. She’s incredibly skilled, patient, and funny, which made learning feel effortless and really fun. The vibe was super relaxed and friendly — lots of laughter, a bit of chaos (in the best way), and a real sense of community. It felt more like spending time with creative friends than being in a class. My only tip: come with a project idea in mind, because once you start working with clay, it’s very easy to get carried away. The whole Rochester Square setup is beautiful — the markets, the people, the space — it all adds to that cozy, welcoming atmosphere that’s so rare to find in London.
I have attended a few of the pottery courses with Ewelina and I love them! She is a great teacher, I would totally recommend it for anyone that is interested in learning a new skill and making amazing gifts for friends!
Beautiful pottery studio but very difficult to become a member. I’ve been in many pottery studios and unfortunately this was one that didn’t make me feel very welcome and has a two-year waiting list apparently in order to become a member. I’m a local so it was very sad for me I could not find a space there. I still recommend it for the lessons though.
Joined the class on Wednesday with Ewelina. It's was my first time throwing clay and Ewelina was detailed and clear with her instructions. Didn't hesitated to repeat again. I felt supported and encouraged.
i love working here, a brilliant space for making, learning and sharing with a wonderful and evolving community of artists and potters. they offer quality clay workshops and making sessions as well!
Best place to be for anything creative and clay. Lovely garden, best people and community. They also do amazing classes and activities.
