I have done 3 pottery courses with Izzy at Stoneware Studios - a beginners course and two developer courses - and I couldn’t recommend the courses enough! Having never thrown on a wheel before to feeling super confident on the wheel and finding the process so much easier than when I started. Izzy is a fabulous teacher and I really miss my weekly pottery throwing. I will be back for more!

Fantastic, if you are thinking about getting into pottery then I can highly recommend learning at Stoneware Studio! The studio was beautiful with natural light and Izzy was welcoming. Izzy was an incredible teacher, great at explaining difficult concepts in an easy to replicate way. You can tell she really has thought about each little process and how best to teach others. The pace was relaxing and there was no stress, even when it went wrong she swooped in to help. It was a wonderful atmosphere and we learnt to much. Can’t wait to go to more classes with her!

I completed the one day intensive pottery workshop with lzzy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Izzy is a wonderful and patient teacher especially for beginners like myself. The studio is a nice, cosy and airy space with some lovely natural sunlight shining into the space during the day. I had the opportunity to make as many pieces as I could on the wheel during the course of the day under Izzy's helpful guidance. I would recommend the studio for beginners owing to the small class size and Izzy's lovely style of 1.1 and group teaching. I am hoping to come back and participate in a weekly course at some point next year owing to this positive experience.

Previous pottery courses I took were far to big so I spotted Stoneware Studios on Instagram and thought a small class perfect. My first 'class' was 3 private, 2 hour sessions with Izzy. I realised I hadn't remembered much with the previous pottery classes pre Covid and so appreciated the one on one. I have completed 2 of the 3 and have already decided to sign up for a group course. Izzy is talented, patient and explains techniques so well. The studio itself is lovely with only 6 wheels. Definitely something I want to continue doing with Stoneware.

I had the best time at Stoneware Studios! Having never tried pottery before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so comfortable and at ease. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful, which set such a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere. Izzy, our teacher, was fantastic. She started the class with a really clear and engaging demonstration, then spent the rest of the session moving around to give each of us personal guidance and encouragement. She was so attentive and made sure everyone felt supported, no matter their skill level. I went with five friends to celebrate a birthday, and it honestly couldn’t have been a better choice. We all had such a fun and memorable time, and I left feeling not only proud of what I’d made but also really excited to do more pottery in the future. I can’t recommend this studio enough - whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking for a unique and creative activity, this is the perfect place to go!

My favourite thing to look forward to every week! The loveliest pottery studio, lovely small class sizes and Tash was a brilliant teacher. I had the best 5 weeks and now want to book another course
