The Kiln Rooms

We had a fantastic experience at Kiln Room Studio in Farringdon. We spent the morning trying both hand-building and wheel throwing as a team activity, and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The team were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, even with a large group, and were very flexible in designing a session that worked around our existing commitments. We’d definitely love to come back again!

I’ve been doing the 12-week courses at the Kiln Rooms for over 2 years now and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The studio is well equipped and full of people passionate about pots 🏺. The courses are well structured for all levels and always has a welcoming environment. My course has been taught by Sean, who is so lovely, encouraging and patient. ❤️

I’m so happy to be able to walk to Kiln Studios, and have a local pottery venue that is a great place to learn the basics and beyond. I’ve just signed up for my third 12 week course! I’m addicted! The only thing I wish, is for them to provide a few more glaze colours.

I was really disappointed with my recent experience at The Kiln Rooms in Farringdon. To start with, their availability to book is already quite limited, but what made things worse was that the session clearly wasn’t set up in advance. By the time 2pm rolled around, things still weren’t ready, which felt unprofessional and showed a lack of consideration for people who arrive on time. There aren’t many places to wait around nearby, and it’s a good job it wasn’t raining, because we were left standing around with nowhere comfortable to go. Overall, not impressed — I expected better organisation and respect for people’s time.

I recently completed a 12-week course at The Kiln Rooms with no prior pottery experience. The classes were both enjoyable and informative, and I’ve learned so much over the 12 weeks. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve already booked onto a second course.

I looked up so many studios before deciding on this and I’m so glad I did this! Have been learning from Sean for over a year and I’ve made so much progress!!! Love it here

The tutors at the pottery studio are absolutely fantastic — they introduced us to the joys of pottery with patience and passion, guiding us through the techniques every step of the way. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches when it came time to collect our finished pieces — each item was carefully wrapped and placed in a bag, making it easy to take our artwork home. It was such a wholesome experience, and I highly recommend taking lessons here!
