Tokobo is a great studio! Intimate, with just 6 wheels - unlike other studios that cram you into small spaces, there's proper room to work. Love Mizuyo as a teacher too, she has a special way to gently suggest that a pot is beyond saving 🙂 And finally, the view across London is fab, a great place for inspiration.
A calm and beautiful studio in which to learn all aspects of creative pottery. Mizuyo is an excellent teacher who guides with patience and calm and whose own work is an inspiration. This was my third round of workshops and I will certainly be back for more.
Love Tokyo Pottery studio. Great teaching from the master Mizuyo. Always very patient. Very spacious studio too, it's a pleasure to come and do a class every Thursday. Not like some other Class in other studio, the amount of students are limited so you can learn so much more. I highly recommend it! Camille
I love TOKOBO Pottery and the instructor Mizuyo, she is a wonderful teacher and very patient. It took me a few sessions to be able to get up a pot but it was fun the whole time! I am now going into my second set of classes and will continue to go to TOKOBO pottery for the foreseeable future. I would recommend TOKOBO pottery for anyone that wants to learn pottery in a lovely environment.
I did the one day nerikomi course with 4 other pupils being taught by Mizuyo. I was amazed how much we learnt and were able to create in the time in a relaxed and enjoyable way. The pieces were left with her to dry and fire and after collecting them some 5/6 weeks later (today), I am thrilled with the result. Although it may seem expensive for the day, more work went into the end result after we left the studio. I would love to do the longer course. Thank you
It's such a great place! We rented TOKOBO for a day for fashion video shoot. There were 9 of us and Mizuyo was very accommodating. The location is great just by Broadway market. Thank you Mizuyo!
I started at Tokobo with a 5 week course and have just completed a 10 week course. I absolutely love it there and have enjoyed every lesson so much. Mizuyo is great and I’ll definitely be doing drop in sessions and more courses soon! I would highly recommend Tokobo 🙂
