From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, which continued through out the entire weekend. The pottery course was amazing, Rosa is a wonderful teacher. Her passion shows through the whole time, nothing is too much trouble for her. She is so talented, her work which is displayed around the workshop is inspirational. The whole weekend was so well put together and Gary (Rosa’s husband) was an amazing host, his cooking was delicious and plentiful. The whole weekend was a wonderful and relaxing experience, one that I have already booked again. It was quite addictive, I would highly recommend it.

I was lucky to take part in Rosa’s residential weekend in late 2025. Rosa is an amazing teacher and really wants her students to succeed. Her teaching is thorough and from the heart. The surroundings, - house and studio are inspiring, spacious and beautiful, and the hospitality was generous with delicious home cooked food. I would recommend this retreat to anyone and Rosa and her family are wonderful hosts. You will return home wanting to pursue pottery further and like myself looking forward to more retreats with Rosa.

Rosa is an excellent teacher. She's calm, knowledgeable, and patient. She taught me new tricks that have greatly improved my success rate on the wheel. I spent an amazing weekend staying in a Rosa's beautiful home with a great sociable group of aspiring potters. We were treated like old friends by her lovely family. Meals around their large kitchen table were a highlight. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly recommend spending a weekend with Rosa at one of her workshops. Not only is Rosa super knowledgeable and incredibly patient, she’s also a wonderful host who is very generous with her time, expertise (and has a wonderful sense of fun and humour) The workshops are hosted in her beautiful studio and home and participants get to enjoy some fabulous home cooking throughout their time there. I came away feeling like I’d developed my skills and made new friends along the way. I can’t wait to return.
