My husband and I had a wonderful 2:1 session at Brick Kiln Pottery and it was such a relaxing, fun experience. Adam was incredibly patient and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. He explained everything clearly and made the whole session so enjoyable. We had an amazing time and can’t recommend it enough - we’re already looking forward to coming back soon!
I did the Highland Cow class with my mum and sister and had so much fun. The whole session had a really relaxed, welcoming vibe, friendly, chatty, and full of laughter without ever feeling pressured or rushed. The instructor, Emma, created such an easygoing atmosphere that even the people who said they "weren’t creative" ended up completely absorbed and proud of what they made. One of my favourite parts was seeing how everyone’s designs turned out so different and unique, even though we all started with the same tools and the same brief. It really shows how well the class brings out your own style. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something hands‑on, uplifting, and a bit different. Top tip: go in from Norwich Road (the old A11 for those that remember) rather than the A11 itself, as sat navs can be a bit misleading. Or use the What3Words location: ///branching.recount.mixing.
The Brick Kiln Pottery Studio offers a fully equipped workshop for learners and members who love ceramics. The teachers, Emma and Adams, are very friendly, and their instruction is clear and engaging. I had a wonderful three-day course there—it was so much fun that I decided to become a member.
We enjoyed a few hours creating our clay sculptures of highland cows and glazing them. The step by step guide by Emma and her team enabled us all to produce our own works of art. We are looking forward to our end products after they have been kiln fired Looking forward to going back 😁
Fantastic afternoon making Highland Cows. The class was really fun and Emma gave really good instructions to make it easy. Even if you don’t feel you are good with arts and crafts I would highly recommend. Can’t wait to pick up Hamish the Highland Cow in a few weeks 💙
Indulgent - immersive - utterly brilliant! Three day pottery class was excellent! From relaxed spacious environment, to making new friends, to producing far more than I had expected to achieve from a course. Definitely coming back for more. Fabulous!
We had a great time, we went as a family group (mum, aunty, sister, cousins) for a little girls night - pottery & Prosecco! Lovely venue with good facilities, Emma was great with the demo and support. Looking forward to collecting our pieces when they’re ready…
