Norwich Pottery Studio

My first experience with pottery and I loved it. Everyone was immediately made to feel very comfortable in the class and the tutor was friendly and supportive and we had some laughs. Everyone in my class was encouraged to have a go at different techniques and pottery skills and people were very encouraging towards each other. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking at setting up my own pottery studio at home and booking another course later in the year. Excellent experience. Attended the recent beginners course and despite being terrified at the outset I enjoyed every session. I have a new found respect for pottery - I had no idea it was so challenging! Mark & Sasha were inspirational tutors. It was an enriching experience, great fun and I met some lovely folk.

It’s my second time taking this course and i will definitely will be back for more! Mark is so generous with his knowledge and he’s got the nicest energy , i love his classes and what a great environment he created! I miss my Thursday pottery class already!

I absolutely couldn't wait for every class. They were so much fun and the teachers were very relaxed and helpful. Always something new to challenge us and I felt I could ask anything I needed to know. Always a helpful response with a smile. I would love to join a class that would include knowledge about firing the kiln. Looking forward to seeing my work this week after it's been glazed. The work in the photo is before firing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the 6 weeks, beginners' course with Norwich Pottery studio - so much so that I immediately signed up for a second set of sessions. The teaching and support given is of a high quality, such that even real beginners can make pieces to be proud of as there is always help on hand. I learnt a great deal and found the whole experience both relaxing and stimulating. This is certainly something I would recommend to anyone - great fun and very creative!

I have now completed two beginners courses at Norwich Pottery studio and am thrilled with my progress. I've developed so much more confidence in both hand building and on the wheel and am really happy with the pieces I've produced. It's ignited a real passion for pottery and I'm looking forward to taking more courses and seeing my skills grow. I would recommend the course to anyone that has ever fancied giving pottery a go.

I have just completed the beginners course at the studio and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have made several items, sculptures and using the wheel and although I am not a natural, Mark and Sasha were great and really encouraging. I met some lovely ladies and just had a great time, so much so I have booked another course for next year.
