A surprise for my husband ! We had a great time with Sophie and Dee showing us how to use the potter's wheel, and handmade clay craft, very friendly and knowledgeable potters! Studio is a great place we made two items each. Great atmosphere, definitely worth booking onto The Taster session, and in our local town too. Thank you really enjoyed the course, we will be back.
The Claypit is a big hug of an experience. I’ve attended multiple courses here, have always had a warm welcome and really enjoyed my time in the sessions. The approach to teaching and support taken by Rachel is inclusive, friendly and supportive. The premises are great for the classes with local parking. I feel part of the clay community now and love letting my creative side loose (which doesn’t always come easily). For anyone who’s thinking of giving it a go, but has worried about not being arty - it doesn’t matter. I suspect you’ll love it, like I do. Go for it!
I came with my daughter-in-law as a Christmas gift & we had an amazing time. The tutors were very patient & informative, joining other friendly people in an informal setting, we all had a wonderful morning creating keepsakes and making a mess. Thank you, we’ll be coming back again soon!
Me and my family had a very lovely creative experience at the studio. There was ample room to move around and the whole place and atmosphere was really great. There was lots of advice and help on hand and both my daughter and wife were pleased with their creations. Just a great experience.... We'll be back!
Had a fantastic time at the family session today with my son. So much fun, Leila as lovely and helpful as always, and enjoyed getting creative. Can't wait to come back!
We had a cracking time with Rachel yesterday! Thoroughly enjoyed our pottery wheel workshop, with excellent tuition from Rachel. Came away with something which actually resembled a pot, much to our amazement! We will definitely book again. Thanks Rachel!
I was attracted to this course originally by the warm, welcoming website and it didn’t disappoint. Rachel is so lovely, calm and encouraging. Put you at ease. Have met some really lovely people. It’s such a warm and nurturing environment. I will definitely be returning for another course ☺️
