Martin Rose Illustration

Saw some of Martin's work on display at Ackworth Library near Pontefract. Some is of space and planets, others are Japanese style brushed ink. I saw the library have bought and framed their own print of Martin's which is of a child reading, done as a linocut. He also painted the windows there at Christmas, and they don't want to clean it off!

Martin came to do a session with my class of mixed aged children, creating coasters and bookmarks. The session was well prepared and organised. Martin delivered the session in a clear and appropriate way, suitable for the ages of the children participating. The materials used were of a high quality, and additional items, such as feet for the coasters and tassels for the bookmarks, were provided. The finished items looked beautiful and they were very unique to each individual child. We had lots of positive comments from parents. I would highly recommended Martin, both as an artist in his own right (he is very talented!) and to deliver art workshop sessions. Thank you Martin

Martin completed a couple of illustrations for me for a national fundraising campaign I use to manage for the pet charity Blue Cross. I was looking for someone with a bit of edge and whose work would stand out from our usual creative direction while keeping in with the brands tone and feel - Martin completely ticked these boxes and I'm so pleased with the end results.
