I’ve spent the past seven months learning at Andrew’s studio, and it has been such a rewarding journey. From day one, the atmosphere has been so warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. Andrew is an amazing teacher who has shared so much of his expertise, helping me grow in confidence and skill. It’s a truly welcoming space for anyone wanting to explore pottery.

Andrew's classes have everything you want. They are informative, social, and fun. I learnt so much in my classes and now have been going regularly to make more of my own things.

i absolutely love this studio! i send my pots to get fired here and it's always such lovely vibes when i come in. there are often classes on and everyone is making cool stuff and seems to be really enjoying it. although i only really pop in for dropping stuff off it really feels like I'm part of such a lovely and friendly community at the studio! i believe you can have monthly membership at the studio with different tiers for the amount of hours you want to go in. there's a few wheels and tonnes of handbuilding space and a big selection of glazes. the prices andrew sets for firing are really competitive. he also has given me advice on glazing when i've been in which is super lovely. the firing is always consistent and i get my stuff back really quickly which is very much appreciated! great vibes all round!

I've been coming to Andrew's for years now, to classes and as a regular open studio user. Andrew is a great teacher, generous and professional. He has built a great community of potters around his beautiful space and it's always a lovely atmosphere to come and work to. Plus, his fees are very competitive, which is greatly appreciated in this expensive hobby!

A warm and friendly studio with such a welcoming atmosphere. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable about all things ceramic and couldn’t be a more helpful or supportive creative guide. There’s a fantastic choice of glazes, and the turnaround through firing is impressively quick. The studio is well organised, full of laughter, and a genuinely lovely place to spend time creating. I attend Andrew’s studio weekly and work on my own pieces, mainly animals. There are often classes happening at the same time and it’s a great way to meet new people. The studio is well organised and has everything you could possibly need. Andrew is always happy to offer advice and is so patient and super knowledgeable. I love it!

Andrew is knowledgable, friendly and welcoming and has given up a good chunk of his time over the last few years answering my questions and helping to guide me through getting the most of out my glazing process… this is all very much appreciated! Pottery is (for me anyway) quite an isolated process and it is great to know that Andrew is there to fire my work and to talk about all stuff pottery related!
