Saredon Studios

I'm so glad I found Saredon Studio's art classes for my 7-year-old, who loves to paint. I was pleasantly surprised from the very first day—I've never seen my daughter color a picture so beautifully before. The techniques taught by the teacher were clearly reflected in her artwork. The staff are really friendly, and my daughter looks forward to attending each week. A big thank you to Charlotte for your patience and wonderful teaching. The pricing is also very reasonable. Highly recommended for young children! Thank you again.

I started the weekly adult watercolour and drawing class early this year. It is amazing! I have learnt so much from the amazing Charlotte. She teaches you so many things about drawing techniques and how to correctly use watercolours. I then branched out and went to a Saturday class based on watercolour which was so so good. I had no clue what linocutting was until one of the ladies was explaining it so I decided to try a class. It was the best day, we did so many different things but it was so enjoyable and I was very pleased with the results I got. We chose a pattern and cut it out then was able to print it on a range of items. Charlotte is incredible at what she does and I can’t wait to see what is on offer in the future. It is worth trying if you are looking for art classes or a hobby to try. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

UPDATED 10/7/24 - another fabulous workshop at Saredon Studios. This time it was Polaroid sunsets. My painting skills haven’t improved any but it was thoroughly enjoyable. The place is lovely and anyone not ventured there yet should get a place booked. ************************************** I can’t recommend this lovey place enough. I have been on several of their workshops and I have felt comfortable and welcomed every time. I am far from an artist but with the expert guidance given I feel able to enjoy the workshops and learn a lot about art and different techniques. Today I painted a shaggy stag which was fun (even when I didn’t like what I had achieved halfway through). I was given the confidence that the end result would look great and I was very happy with it. I would recommend this studio to anyone wanting to try something different - even something out of your comfort zone - it’s friendly and the classes are expertly taught.

I attended the linocutting course they ran and really enjoyed it. Charlotte did a great job teaching the basics to a complete newbie. It was a really relaxed environment with 6 of us attending the session, and I’m so pleased with the owl print I had made by the end! I can’t wait to get stuck into more lino cutting now!

I have really enjoyed my classes so far at Saredon Studios. I have not done classes since school, and Alexandra has made everything feel very positive and fun. She makes the environment welcoming and lovely, and I have been grateful for her sharing tips and advice for how I can improve my drawings. I know that I feel much happier and relaxed once I have been to my class, so I am glad to have found the studios. Thank you so much for making lessons very accessible and enjoyable😊

I am currently attending my second term of evening Art classes and am currently working with Alex. Alex is so lovely, extremely knowledgeable and teaches in the most fun and friendly manner, ensuring that everyone under her tuition has a really lovely experience whilst in her studio. She encourages all artists, whatever their level to try and experience a range of art mediums with lots of equipment to practice with and lots of advice on hand to support. The classes are so enjoyable and my art has drastically improved within the time that I have been attending but most of all, I am really enjoying learning in this beautiful, calming setting and wonderful studio under Alex's experience and guidance. This studio is a must for anyone wanting to step back into art or try a new experience. Lots of classes on offer including courses or one off experiences to suit all 🙂

My daughter & her friend came to the funfair tote bag kids club, they had a fab time. The lady who took the class was so lovely. Thank you so much, we will definitely be coming again! 👏
