One of the best evenings out for ages! Highly recommend for solos or a group of pals. Great tuition from Christina for about 10 mins showing you how and what to do … and then it’s your turn! We were a party of 4 who all got to have a try at throwing a pot on the wheel. We were all novices but several pots later and we all really got the knack. Timings of 2 hour classes are brill as we all got to try a couple of throws (studio has two potters wheels) and could also try some freehand sculpting work. Handling clay is very relaxing and the atmosphere in the studio is chilled and fun. Lots of inspirational examples around - Christina makes and sells private commission's on Etsy - we laughed at our mistakes and got better as the time went on. Our pieces were then shelved to dry after we had been advised of and chosen our colour glazes. I did a pot and a plaque which will be fired and available about 10 days afterwards. Brilliant value for money while trying out a fun new hobby. A great place to learn and become confident with clay. All of us said we’ll be back.

We had a fantastic pottery session with Christina. Everything was very relaxed and the session was tailored to what we wanted to make. Christina makes some wonderful pottery in her studio and is really supportive in helping you try to achieve something fab. The 2 hours went so quickly and we loved it. The studio space is great and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Had an absolutely great time at Christina's pottery class! Christina is a fantastic teacher and it was great value to work on multiple clay pieces. I have also given the pottery class gift card to someone as a present which was very well received.

My partner & I attended one of Christina’s classes and it was brilliant! Couldn’t recommend enough, so nice to have this creative space in Torquay and have someone who is passionate and knowledgeable to guide the group of people. For the price, it is worth every penny .. in fact Christina should be charging considerably more! Can’t wait to come back 🙂

I brought a class for my mum for her birthday and I also attended, I 100% recommend attending one of Christina’s classes, it’s affordable and very calming and definitely something we will be doing again. Christina is a lovely lady extremely helpful and very down to earth. For someone who enjoys pottery making or even if you just want to give it a go it’s definitely worth a Visit 🙂

I booked this as my birthday ‘experience’ with my family whilst we were visiting Torquay. So the 5 of us (my husband and I plus 3 children in their early 20’s) descended upon the studio with none or very limited knowledge of potting! What a great time we had! Christina was helpful but not intrusive she allowed our mistakes, and saved us as our creations started to go wrong! We were each able to use the potters wheel a couple of times and discovered that some of us could actually make a pot! We all agreed that it was a brilliant couple of hours and in fact my daughter wished she lived closer as she found it so relaxing and would love to do it on a more regular basis! The price of the class is amazing- we certainly have not been able to find anything as affordable near us. We would highly recommend this class as a one off experience, or regular hobby.
