I attended the enamelling course conducted by Aiwa in the last two months. I must admit that I didn't know how I would find myself taking part in a course on the threshold of my sixtieth anniversary. All my doubts dissolved like snow in the sun almost instantly as soon as the course began. I found myself welcomed by a family that to define as wonderful is only a pale attempt to describe it. The course was conducted in an impeccable, professional and precise manner. We covered all the fundamental techniques of basic enamelling and then one by one we experimented with Champlevé, Cloisonné, Bassetaille, Plique-à-jour. I found Aiwa, our teacher, very knowledgeable and able to answer every question, bringing the whole class to competence in the use of all the techniques in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Today I can consider myself an enameller. Novice but perfectly capable of continuing on my own two feet. Hope to meet you all very soon! I have nothing else to add other than a big thank you!

A very interesting experience in Aiwa’s enamel workshop. I’ve made earrings, rings and beautiful necklaces there. She is really very precessional and nice girl.I have very great time there.
