This space provided a calm,peaceful - so hard to find these days - place for my kids to engage in drawing activities with an experienced artist for FREE! A perfect spot if you need to get kids away from screens for a few hours in the holidays. Cookies were delicious too, if like me , you have a sweet tooth! Well worth the visit.
Absolutely love the set up in the shopping centre! Empowering and sharing artists work in a way that fully gives them the spotlight. The love, uniqueness and inspiration of the Amanartis area is so wonderful to see. It is such a positive for everyone involved, the artists and the community. . Thank you Amma. The only art gallery inside a cemetery in the UK is also a wonderful space to support local creative businesses. Amma really puts her heart in everything she does at Amanartis, and it’s worth going there to check artist’s work, have a coffee, shop for local crafts and just enjoy! There are as well all kinds of events during the month, it’s worth checking their website.
Amma creates a wonderful creative and welcoming atmosphere, you can pop in, don't be scared, there is coffee, there is food, there is friendly people. My partner and I just found it on Google maps and dropped in, and yes, it is in the graveyard. 5/5 would go again!
Beautifully lit studio, with artworks by artist Amma, and other local artists, from painting to pottery to textiles, enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend 🎨👌
