I started with a pottery workshop with Sampada and then came back for a wheel-throwing beginner’s 5-week course. Really enjoyed both – especially the trimming and glazing sessions on the throwing course. Sampada is relaxed, helpful and encouraging and supports you to explore your own ideas and develop your skills. I’ve used so much of what she taught me to carry on making things at home. I’ve used Sampada’s firing service too, which has been really good-value, and she continues to give lots of excellent advice and to encourage me to try new things. Great studio with a great teacher. Highly recommend!
Had such a fun time at the studio today, it was my first time ever and Sampada was very patient, kind and friendly the entire time. I loved the relaxed environment and the studio is very cute. A wonderful space to escape the everyday in! We ended up making 3-4 of our own creations in the 2 hour session. Highly recommend 🙂
It was such a delight learning pottery from Sampada! We tried all kinds of styles & glazing as well. The studio is very intimate & comfortable to be in 😀 we are looking forward to our 3rd session and more!

We booked a family pottery session for six of us, ages ranging from 8 to 69, and everyone absolutely loved it! The 3 hours flew by so quickly. Sampada was incredibly patient, friendly, and helpful throughout. We were all beginners and we each managed to make few pieces each. The studio itself is calming, with a lovely canal view. It was such a fun and memorable experience for the whole family. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back again!
