Quilt Stitch Social

I love QSS. Have only been going a few weeks but I love it already! Nicola runs a gorgeous, warm and friendly studio. She is so patient and helpful with everyone and we have a good laugh too! Drinks and snacks provided for a small charge and you must visit the disco toilet! All the resources are included and there is such a wide, varied choice all wonderfully organised. I would highly recommend it.

I started in September taking my 7 year old granddaughter every 3rd Tuesday for the kids sewing lessons. Shes not only taken to sewing like a duck to water but she also asked Father Christmas for a sewing machine which he very kindly delivered to her. Shes become such a confident little sewer both at home and in her lessons. Nicola is an absolutely lovely lady, patient with the kids, very talented in what she does and has the quirkiest 80s disco toilet ever! Lovely place to learn and socialise, homely, friendly and a pleasure to spend time in. Ive even started going for 2 hour lessons myself recently. Keep doing what you do so well Nic 👏.

Wonderful day with Nicola at Quilt Stitch Social in Moreton, Wirral. I can't quite believe that I made a decent pair of sneakers as I have never used a sewing machine before today. Nicola is a wonderful teacher, highly recommended.

I joined Quilt stitch social about a month ago and I absolutely love it, the social side of it for me is fabulous, they are a great group of people who have made me feel very welcome, I’d only been there a couple of weeks and they invited me to a craft/sewing fair in Harrogate which I’m really looking forward to….I love the kids they have helped me with tasks, the teacher Nicola is patient kind funny and generally a lovely girl, I would recommend Quilt stitch social to everyone, I just love it….

I attended the sneaker making course yesterday with Nicola. The studio itself was amazing, you could feel the positive energy as soon as you walked in. Nicola was an amazing teacher and made sure she gave everyone the personal attention that they needed. I absolutely loved it and can’t believe I made my own sneakers. We were well looked after and had lots of choice with snacks, refreshments and materials to use. It was a great day all round. I can’t wait for my next class ❤️

My daughter has been attending for 2 months now and has hugely grown not only in her sewing confidence (she had never used a machine before) but her personal confidence too. QSS is such a free, warm and accepting environment for all abilities. It's so nice to see young people comfortably flourish in an expressive environment. Not only has she learnt a new set of skills but she is creating beautiful pieces weekly ❤️

A wonderful safe space to learn and grow sewing knowledge, with the most passionate and patient teacher you could dream of. I’ve also met some of the loveliest likeminded people as well. My time here is the highlight of my week
