If you’re looking for an amazing studio, I can’t recommend Crown Works Pottery enough. I’ve done three six-week courses with them now and have loved every single second. I’ve been lucky to have Alex for all of them, she’s an incredible teacher - so talented, patient and kind. I’ve learnt so much from her and always come away inspired and excited for my next class. When I first started, I was a complete beginner, but with each course I can really see how much I’ve improved with every set of pots I make. The studio itself is such a beautiful space, warm, welcoming and full of creative energy. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more.

If you are reading this, I want to encourage you to take a class at Crown works pottery. It is by far the best pottery studio in London. The vibe of this place is unmatched. Studio has been beautifully maintained- it’s very clean and organized. They have everything and every tool you would ever need to make a pot- the very best of machines and clay. They have some amazing visiting teachers but hand on heart they have the best in-house teachers and technicians. Extremely knowledgeable and more than anything experienced and empathetic. They will pour their hearts in teaching you. I haven’t met kinder people! This place made me fall in love with pottery and I couldn’t be more happy to have been a student here. I will always keep going back- Legendary stuff.

What an amazing spot! I did a 6 Weeks course with Stick as my teacher. From lesson one, I was hooked. Super chilled vibe in the studio and you will learn a lot during the course. Very beginner friendly and you'll get all the help you need. I came out with 8 stunning pieces. Highly recommend. Thank you so much Stick!

A lot of pottery workshops to choose from, but I definitely made the right choice - super charming and beautiful space! The tutor Stick was patient, knowledgeable and put my first time nerves at ease. Thanks to him, I came away with 4 usable pieces of work. Thanks so much for the experience!

Went to a pottery throwing taster class with Richard Mutimer (Stick Ceramics) - great fun if very difficult! Really interesting to learn the first steps and how things come together. Would recommend for a date night or group activity!

A wonderful and fun thing to do, perfect as a family activity. Instructor explained well, but could do with more hands on help to those who are struggling to let them know what they’re doing incorrectly or how to improve. If you decide to go, wear suitable clothing, it is messy and you will get your clothes dirty. At least one star nocked off because of price - they are too expensive for what is offered.

Lovely vibe at Crown Works last weekend. Pippa’s one day workshop was super calming, jam packed with info, and with tons of practical support. The best pottery teacher I’ve had! Will be back at Crown Works again.
