My mum, her friend and I had a brilliant time today in our wheel taster session. Sarah was a great teacher and very patient! We could have as many goes as we wanted, no limit on clay or how many items you can throw. The session was by far the best value for money around, no extra charges for clay, glazing or firing. Highly recommend a session at The Creative Studio York.

I did a hare sculpture class with Sarah and I never thought that I would make something so good! She’s an excellent teacher, just the right amount of guidance at a good pace. I’ve done a lot of art workshops and this really stands out as being one of the best taught. Sarah also provided snacks! Winner 🥇 I will definitely be back and will recommend to my friends. Wow what a day! Making a Hare Sculpture. Sarah is a humble and unassuming and modest artist. She is such a clever teacher, everything was explained, modelled and supported in very small steps, What a very positive experience. We all made a hare sculpture and they were all brilliant. I've worked with teachers for many years and this sculpture course was truly impressive. I now need my sons to buy me another sculpture day for my next birthday. Thank you so much Sarah.

Knowledgeable and attentive, Sarah made sure that I had everything I needed to throw and finish my pots. The Studio is well equipped with wheels, tools and materials including glazes. I was able to use some lovely delicate brushes that really enhanced the surface design. It has a friendly and supportive atmosphere, enabling people of all experience levels and ages to enjoy making things out of clay. I'll be back👍

Sarah was lovely & helpful teaching pottery to total beginners. Very peaceful workshop, offered to colour and post our finished pots. I'd love to come again in the future.

Such an amazing experience, I had never done it before and under great guidance was able to produce something I am actually proud off. Thank you! I will be back for glazing and more pottery fun.
