What a fantastic experience!! We've just finished the beginners throwing taster workshop with Ruth and i can't recommend it highly enough. After a brief demonstration, we were let loose on the pottery wheels ourselves to make our own creations with Ruth on hand to give guidance throughout in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere...next stop, The Great Pottery Throwdown!! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!
I had a very pleasant 2 hour pottery session with Ruth at her studio in the fantastic Brook Arts Hub in Shottery. She really helped me to iron out a couple of technique problems when throwing pots on the wheel. We also had a very convivial chat about pottery in general. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn or improve their pottery hobby.
Fabulous class. Ruth gave a clear, informative display before we got to have a go ourselves. Throughout my attempts she offered handy tips to help me out and I was really pleased with the results. Would recommend to anyone wanting to give pottery a go! I had zero experience but Ruth was patient and is an excellent teacher. Will be coming again to hone in my skill!
I’ve just got back from an incredibly wholesome evening learning how to do pottery with Ruth at form and fire. Ruth’s teaching style is relaxed and professional, the whole experience was 10/10 and I cannot wait to do the rest of my 6 week course at her studio. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an opportunity to relax and be creative.
had my first pottery lesson , with Ruth today. i really enjoyed it, Ruth was a fantastic teacher and i would recommend it to anyone , lovely chilled vibe and also doing something completely different . looking forward to the next 5 classes. 😃
