This is SUCH a special place. Jess, the owner, is a warm, kind and accepting soul and this shines through this lovely little workshop at every turn. The tone she sets is one of inclusion and celebrating difference and seeing the value in every child or adult that comes to her space. The other staff all follow suit and it is an utter joy to visit. We think ourselves very lucky to have the little art's workshop on our doorstep, but it's worth a journey if you don't live in Bishop's Stortford because we've never found anywhere else quite like it. The range of things to try is excellent and it's incredibly well-equipped and well run. It's a true gem.

Huge fan of Little Arts, which has always been so very welcoming and friendly in the 2 years we have visited. The business owner is a delight and very happy to help where possible. The range of products available in store is fantastic, by far the best I have seen of a pottery store. The pottery is handled with the utmost care and I have never received back a damaged or marked piece, unlike other places I have been to. Insane range of tools and paints to choose from as well. I don’t have children myself, but there are usually children visiting the store while we paint, and they are very accommodating of them which is nice to see as well. 10/10 recommend, easily the best pottery shop you will visit 🤩

I visited today with my partner and children and we all had such a lovely time. Prior to coming, I emailed as I had a voucher to redeem and the person I spoke with was very helpful and friendly, this set the tone for sure! The staff were great, attentive, made us feel very welcome and took the time to talk us through everything which was very appreciated as it was our first time. We all had hot chocolates, coffee and snacks which were also great. We'll definitely be returning!

One of my favourite places to visit! I have been coming here for a few years now whether that’s for a catch-up with friends or for some time out from everyday life, it is a great place. The people here are what really make it, they make you feel so welcome and are always more than happy to help and advise, even love to chat just like me! Myself and my friends love to come here, can’t recommend it enough! Thank you little arts for everything you do!

I booked a print session for my 5 month old daughter. There was a young boy at one of the tables coughing and sneezing. I overheard the owner saying that it was her son who was off school sick ! I spent the whole session feeling very uncomfortable. I tried to keep my distance from him, but at one point he came over to our table and started interacting with us. Two days later my baby started to became unwell and she is now seriously ill. I understand how difficult childcare is with sick children, but I am so upset about the experience. I should have left the minute I felt uncomfortable. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

What a great experience, I've never done pottery painting before but went with my best friend a couple of weeks ago and had the best time. The shop and atmosphere was great, and the hosts were so kind and lovely. The selection of pottery, tools and paints was incredible and made the experience even better. Would recommend to anyone of any age for a relaxing time and a fun afternoon - will definitely be going back.
